At GURUscapes, we want you to be completely satisfied with your turf and landscape products. If something isn’t right, we’re here to assist with returns under the following guidelines.

Eligibility for Returns

  • Timeframe: Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when received.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Certain products cannot be returned due to their nature, including:
    • Custom or special-order items.
    • Bulk materials delivered via freight, unless defective or incorrect.
  • Proof of Purchase: A copy of your order confirmation or receipt is required for all returns.

Return Process

  1. Contact Us: To initiate a return, email us at [email protected] within 30 days of delivery. Provide your order number and a brief explanation of the return reason.
  2. Approval: We’ll review your request and, if approved, provide a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and shipping instructions.
  3. Pack & Ship: Securely package the item with the RAN clearly visible on the outside. Ship it back to us using a carrier of your choice within 7 days of receiving the RAN.
  4. Return Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., damaged, defective, or incorrect item). We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we’re not liable for lost returns.

Delivery

  • Delivery Timeline: Most orders arrive within 3-7 business days after processing, depending on your location and shipping method. Bulk or custom orders may take longer, and we’ll provide an estimated delivery window at checkout.
  • Tracking: Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email to monitor its progress.
  • Delivery Process:
    • Small packages are left at your doorstep or designated delivery location.
    • For bulk deliveries (e.g., full pallets), the carrier will place the items delivered to a dock, curbside or at the end of your driveway. Please ensure clear access for delivery trucks. Additional fees may apply for special requests like inside delivery—contact us for a quote.

Inspection: We recommend inspecting your order upon arrival. If anything is damaged or missing, notify us within 48 hours of delivery (see “Damages & Issues” below).

Refunds

  • Processing Time: Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
  • Refund Amount: Refunds cover the product cost only, excluding original shipping fees. If the return is due to our error, we’ll also reimburse reasonable return shipping costs (with proof of receipt).
  • Condition: Items must be returned in their original, unused condition. Returns showing signs of use or damage may be rejected or subject to a restocking fee (see below).

Restocking Fee

  • A 15% restocking fee may apply to returns of non-defective items to cover handling and restocking costs. This fee will be deducted from your refund.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

  • If your item arrives damaged, defective, or isn’t what you ordered, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. We’ll provide a prepaid return label or arrange a replacement at no cost to you, depending on availability.
